I'm sure you all know how I feel about gold and silver. I love them, they're real money, not the fake pieces of paper or bits in a computer that passes for money today. Well, I recently came across an opportunity to sell graded, perfect numismatic coins like this one:

Isn't Miss Liberty pretty? That coin is graded MS70, which means it's Mint State Perfect, you can't find a more perfect coin. What we sell is other silver coins like the above, along with MS70 gold coins and some related odds and ends like a little jewelry.

If you're at all interested in helping your neighbors protect and possibly increase their wealth, please click here and watch the video. If you want more information, please fill out the contact form on that page and I'll get back to you right away.

Now, if you don't need any more money, you certainly need a place to put it. These coins are 99.9% silver and gold and will always be valuable and desired by collectors. If you're only interested in buying some of these for yourself, please see my shopping site here and browse around.

Just to whet your appetite, here's a MS70 Proof US Gold Buffalo one ounce coin.

Good job Joe, but I got local gold, silver, coin, dealers that give me better prices. Since their investments are mostly gold, silver, and valuable things they will survive an economic collapse.

It is hard to decide on buying gold or silver since the prices are so high. They keep climbing and if they fall, when the crisis gets over and done, you lose so much money.
In the end it might pay off, but in the meantime...

And I haven't decided to rule out a soft transition to a post oil age.

Lots is being done to get off of oil.

Actually Vaipen for once I agree with you, gold could tank and while its value is never zero, it can go low in price due to economic and market conditions.

The trick to good investment is buy low and sell high, investment 101 teaches you that.

In fact I think the best money maker would to be a bounty hunter or mercenary after the collapse to get justice on looters, zombies, etc who stole gold and silver from Joe and other people and then return it for a small fraction of it. Which means me and other ninjas and pirates will make deals with local coin and gold and silver and pawn shops to hunt down people who loot and rob them, and see if we can return anything.

Best investment is land, find a cave that has barely been touched and study geology and mining and mineralogy and find out how to find gemstones hidden in the cave by figuring out which stagaltights or stalagmights have gemstones in them. Just one small one sells for $1000 and a large one for $2000 based on the gemstone. Those that have them are hollow and you can knock on them to tell. Also if you find a crack, yell into it, if you hear an echo behind the wall, hidden part of the cave you can break down the wall to get into. Caves always have 60 degrees F temps all year long but 40 degree F water.

Oh yeah black ash from volcanoes is onyx and some stalagtights turn into onyx and if you find a big one, it is worth more than gold and what you paid to buy the cave.

Also the cave is a good hiding place if you can figure out how to cover up the openings using natural stuff as camouflage.

Too much fantasy. Most caves have been explored. If you wanna mke money, don't go into speleology. Don't you think that if gems were so easy to find, people wouldn't already started new careers?

In 1677 that might still have worked. But the low hanging fruit of gems has alrwady been plucked.

I'll believe that when you can prove it via the scientific method and have someone notable peer review it for you.

In the mean time I am saving up money to buy a cave (St. Louis is built over known and unknown cave systems, BTW) and even if it has nothing of value in it anymore I'll customize it to become my own version of the Batcave.

By the way some college friends of mine from the University of Missouri Rolla took mining, mineralogy, and other classes and explore caves and look for things like that. Did you know that there is still a lot of iron, copper, and other stuff in Missouri mines and once they learned it during the Civil War both the North and South fought over control of the caves and mines? Apparently my friends claim to have bought some caves, found gemstones because most people don't know how to find them, and take all the gold, silver, and leave iron, copper and other stuff. California Gold Rush was 1869, there was also an Alaska Gold Rush.

To you Vaipen, you'll never find those gem stones as you don't know how to find them, and many mining for gold and silver figured nothing else was worth anything and left it, and didn't know how to find gemstones anyway.

Well now, OB. If you understood how our fraudulent money system actually works, you'd know gold is going much, much higher in spite of today's small set back.

How do you buy a cave?" And how do you protect your ownership of it? What is a cabe? Is it the empty space confined by the stone surroundings? Or is it the stone that encompasses the space? And how thick is the stone you own, so, how far into the ground rock and wall and celing rock does your ownership extent?

On what is the price based?
