Can Vaipen write a guide to Dutch language and culture so we can understand him better?

He once tried to write Peak Oil for Pirates can he write Dutch for Pirates?

I think most of our misunderstandings is that I don't understand his language or culture and he tries to explain it in English which doesn't always make sense to me.

You remember the film 'The Silence of the Lambs'? In it Jodie Foster speaks to Hannibal Lecter in his jail cel.

She replies with something like 'You have...disadvantages'. And he doesn't get it and conveys that to her. And then she says: 'You are insane'.

You have ...'disadvantages' as well. And those are responsible for you not understanding my near perfect English.

It is not that I write like Shakespeare or even Herman Melville's 'Moby Dick' that I am listening to (audiobook).

If you fail to comprehend me, it is not my writing style that is the problem. Therefore there is no need for me to explain anything to you about cultural differences that would be the cause of your failings.

Joe seems perfectly capable of understanding me. And I have yet to encounter any american or native English speaker that had trouble understanding me. Both in and out of america, on internet as well as in person.

In fact, I have many times been complimented about my skills. I have had discussion with a doctor on evolution theory and he could perfectly grasp complex trains of thought from me.

So there you have it. Repeatably you have drawn this card out, that it is my error that you cannot understand my meaning or my written words.

But the truth of the matter is, you have 'disadvantages'.

And I am sorry for that, but do not blame me again.

No offense OB, but most of the time I have more trouble understanding you that Vai.

Not just your words, but I can't understand how someone as curious as you can miss certain obvious things, like that fact the planet has limits that we're currently way beyond.

Your education levels is relatively low compared to European or at least Dutch levels. But never mind that.

You accredit yourself too much. You have no scientific basis to have an opposite opinion to a consensus of thousands of scientists. There are people there much smarter than you. Of course you have a brain. No one denies it. But your strange affiliations and weird perspectives on sometimes obvious things make you hard to understand. And yet you blame us for not understanding you calling us potheads.

You should not mix in your metaphysical perceptions with ordinary daily life issues.

Apparently they can understand me, but not you and Joe, why is that?

If it were math instead of science it would go like this:

Joe "2+2=5 we are doomed!"

Vaipen "Yes 2+2=5 but 2+2 also equals 3 we are doomed!"

Orion "That does not make any sense, 2+2 clearly equals 4."

Vaipen "Orion you are insane it only equals 3 or 5."

Orion "No Vaipen 2+2=4."

While I agree that civilization and the economy are ready for a collapse, there will be a new civilization and economy created by my International Pirate group that has modern pirates all over the world. We will rebuild and we will invent new technology and fix things.

Both Vaipen and Joe claim I am wrong, that I am disadvantaged, that I am hard to understand, and stupid, and just another American brainless sheep and superstitious fool.

But I have out thought the both of you, out philosophized you, out logiced you, out worked you, shown my proof and evidence and found all kinds of logical fallacies in your statements, as well as showing that your statistics where cooked via the margin of error calculation that statistics and the scientific method uses.

Now here is where I prove that I am the better man, so listen closely. I will make a bet that I can give you both a command and that you'll either do it right away or eventually no matter how smart you are no matter how hard you try not to do it. If you do it, you believe in God and say that I am right, if you never do it then I believe in global warming and peak oil and say you are both right. Is it a deal? See if you can outsmart me, as I am only a religious idiot with a mental illness who cannot even understand the simple things. This is your chance to prove it, or STFU about it. I won't give the command to both of you until you both promise me you will honor the bet. Look you both don't do what I say anyway, and this is your chance to finally shut me up if you win the bet.
