At this point it hardly matters any more. They got away with it and 95% of the people don't believe "conspiracy theories" that might contradict their cherished beliefs that US politicians wouldn't kill their own citizens. They'd probably have to have pictures of Bush pressing the button labeled "WTC 1" to convince them.

It matetrs to me and a whole lot of people still. Just because we are peak oil morons doesn't mean that we abandon all hope to justice. I haven't left my sense of justice and outrage behind just because the wold is going to run on empty.

I am a cynic but not so much a stoic.

In any case, peak oil is also about new opportunities. A better life without all the cheap energy luxuries perhaps. I am preparing for it. So are you.

However, this new world we will inherit and if we can maintain a level of luxury till the day we die, our kids will inherit a world where true values will reign again. Cooperation, social cohesion, social control and a renenwed appreciation for nature and everything that is an extra on top of the very basics of life.

We need moral values, not ethical neglect. It may be those things that prevent humanity from entering a new phase of utter barbarity in a global societal collapse.

Don't leave your heart and sense of justice behind because peak oil ites your ass! LOL

Oh, I surely want to see them hang too. I also want to see the people who engineered the Lusitania hang too (even though they're dead already), and the people who were responsible for the Gulf of Tonkin incident and the Maine scam too.

I don't harbor hope that they will be, and it's not peak oil, it's human nature that befuddles me. It seems most people would believe in false things that are comforting rather than accept a truth that's disquieting.

Thermite material was used in the building's insulation, it was not fireproof but when ignited with fire and jet fuel it can form a nano-thermite type explosion.

First it was plastic explosives in the towers, and now it is nano-thermite.

Don't you think people working in those towers would notice people setting nano-themite packs all over the tower and make phone calls over it? Use some common sense please.

You can keep coming up with new conspiracy theories, but they will always be debunked.

That is true in many ways.

On a personal level, we go about our lives privately and not sharing or exposing that what we do not wish others to see. Bodily, our genitals or what we think are ugly par os ourselves, like being fat. Psychologically we do not wear our mental or emotional problems on our sleeve.

In society we keep up appearances, put on masks to show the world not who we are but rather who we want to be because we are rightfully scared to be judged and taken on face value while we know there are deeper sides to us that we expose on;y to our trusted friends and loved ones...and at that, not even all of it more often than not considering the divorce rates of the modern world.

On the level of nations they keep secrets and hide information because like individuals they work in their own interest. The same goes for business.

Our whole life structure from individual to corporation to models of government are based on privacy, deceit, manipulation all lead by a vanguard of self interest and self importance.

Is it thus so strange to accept that there are groups of people, like families embarrassed by the skeletons in their closets, share goals of self advancement and interests? And that they do not expose themselves or their wants?

This should be a most logical deduction as you study the history of the world and the way of our own lives.

Beyond that, there is ample proof of conspiracies. Even as we speak secrets are being formed when an usurper plots with friends and allies to overthrow a dictator in Africa...or a removed dictator plots to regain his power.

In the halls where republicans or democrats in america meet, they have secret meetings where teh results are not openly discussed. Such things are explained here openly, that the parties in power meet an discuss important matters but swear they will not discuss it with the press to not distress on the course of negotiations.

We see the UN do the same thing, admit to a meeting but not being transparent about the exact contents.

We have secret services that do not openly discuss what they are up to.

So how could anyone deny there is a tendency deep within us for secrecy, on both a societal and personal level? And that from that stems the need for people to gather in groups of common interest, e.g. like a party of a sports club or the Bilderbergers...and Illuminati and other such secret societies?

Even a sports club hides their next game strategy and in footbaal their tactics and player positions are kept until barely 15 minutes before the game commences.

So there is no denial of these facts and therefore conspiracies are plenty around us. We are all part of several ourselves.

But to most common people their conspiracies are small and affect mostly those closely around them. With government the results affect nations, with corporations they affect the world of economics and their competitors and their positions of profit end economic power.

That is my argument.

Yeah but only one news group picks up on the nano-thermite news. 99.99% of them reject it as lunacy.

We don't know if it was really nano-thermite or just a false positive from insulation. Does nano-thermite leave behind a lot of dust and powder? If not, then it must have been from parts of the building and insulation burning. The high content of ash and dust shows that there was a lot of material that was burning, and not exploded.
